GRAND PARADE
 

The students were invited to participate in the Port Adelaide Christmas Parade on 20^th November. They dressed up in colourful clothes and specially painted headbands.  Kiyo and Mamiko wore their Yukata and looked beautiful. They carried their colourful sculpture which told the story of Japanese/Australian friendship. There were big crowds of families waving and clapping as they went by.

生徒たちは、11月20日にあった、ポート・アデレード・クリスマス・パレードへ

の参加を依頼されました。彼女たちは、色鮮やかな洋服といろいろな文字や絵の描かれた

特製のはちまきをつけました。聖と麻美子は、日本から持ってきた浴衣を着て、とても

きれいでした！彼女たちは、その日本とオーストラリアの友好関係を示す色鮮やかなスコープ　チャ―(御みこしのようなもの)をかついで道を歩きました。彼女たちが通ったときそこには

家族連れの人々の手を振る姿や大きな歓声、拍手がありました。
